For wineries
Chenin is a small guide to visiting Stellenbosch. Of the 150 to 200 wineries in the region, we list 79. This page is for the people who run them.
Who Chenin is for
People planning a day or a weekend in the Winelands who want a short list instead of a long one. They pick a few estates, see what each offers and how far it is from Cape Town, and go. Every page points them to you: your website, your phone number, a map.
What being listed means
We list estates where the wine is worth the visit and visitors are welcome. The list is short on purpose, and every estate on it gets the same page: what you make, what visitors can book, whether there is lunch or a bed, and who your neighbours are.
Details are checked before they go up. Anything we cannot confirm stays off the page, so a gap on yours means we have not been able to check.
Send photos
Photos on Chenin are credited. If you have better ones than we do, send them to cheers@trychenin.com: landscape, at least 1600 pixels wide, with the credit line you want. There is nothing to sign and nothing to pay. To swap or take down a photo, write to the same address and it changes the same day.
Correct a fact
If something on your page is wrong or out of date, use the Suggest a correction link on it, or write to cheers@trychenin.com. Tell us what is wrong and where we can check it. We change what we can confirm.
Tell us what’s on
A release, a harvest day, a market, a summer menu? Send the date, what it is and a booking link to cheers@trychenin.com. We check it against your own announcement, then it goes on What’s on until the day has passed.
Not listed and think you should be? Tell us about the wine at cheers@trychenin.com.
